From the beginning, my team and I have tried very hard to make the best food we can, use the best ingredients available, and make the dishes as good as possible (to our detriment, thinking only about cost later). Olive oil is used extensively in everything, along with antibiotic-free chicken, tri-tip cuts of steak for our shawarma, and tenders for kababs. When we do not make something from scratch it is because there is clearly a better alternative (like ketchup, for example). We are always working on and improving our dishes and offerings. And in our efforts, we hope to bring you some of the Mediterranean culture in its appreciation for good food, hospitality, and love of life.

It all started in 2017 when Nick and Kelvin - Founders - met while in College in California and a long-lasting friendship was formed.

Nick from Brazil and Kelvin from Burma always spoke about their dream of starting their own business: a Dessert Shop.

After a lot of research, trial, and error, sugar, and sweat, the idea of bringing real Latin Churros to America was perfect.

Time allowed the concept to flourish, and in 2017, Nick and Kelvin founded Churriño Gourmet Dessert. They combined their rich traditions, Culinary skills, and family tradition to develop a personalized menu full of flavors, passion, and culture.

Bodega Laguna Cocina & Cantina - Mexican Coast 

Bodega Laguna Cocina & Cantina theme mixes the best the Mexicoast has to offer by mashing up traditional Mexican cuisine with a focus on mariscos (seafood). Executive chef Angel Velazquez was the force behind the elevated menu. Simple items like Mexican street corn and featured entradas take you straight to the Mexicoast with dishes like Branzino Zarandeado with chile citrus sauce or “PCH Tacos” an inspired take on the ubiquitous street tacos craze.
